Ah, what a day it was. A wedding nestled between green fields, right on the edge of a lovely river – a
setting so picturesque, it could have been taken straight from a storybook. As a photographer, there’s
something truly magical about capturing moments in such a natural place. This wedding, in particular,
had all the charm, elegance, and heart any bride and photographer alike, could’ve hoped for.
The day started off a bit cloudy and overcast. We started off with bubbles everywhere – champagne
popping, laughter ringing through the air – it was all a gentle reminder of what was to come: a day full
of love, joy, and new beginnings. As the ladies got ready, the soft rush of the river was filling the air. It
was the perfect soundtrack for those quiet, precious moments of anticipation.
But, oh, how perfectly quickly the weather changed! Just 15 minutes before we were set to begin
portraits, the sun decided to grace us with its presence, breaking through the clouds as if on cue. And
just like that, golden hour was upon us. The light was soft and warm, and it cast the most beautiful
glow over everything – perfect for a couple so clearly in love.

We wandered into a small field of cosmos flowers for some of the couple photos, and let me tell you, it
was nothing short of magical. The delicate blooms swayed in the gentle breeze, framing the couple in
the most elegant way. The flowers were the perfect touch, adding a sense of whimsy to the elegance of
the day.

Then, we ventured to the river – After a week of rain, the water was rushing past with an energy and
life of its own. It was the ideal backdrop for more photos, the sound of the water blending so
beautifully with the quiet stillness of each moment.

It was a wedding day I won’t soon forget. Between the stunning venue, the weather that couldn’t have
been more perfect if it tried, and the couple who radiated love, it felt like everything aligned just as it
should. Capturing these moments was an absolute privilege, and I’m so thankful to have been part of
such a beautiful day.
